The pooches ran wild on purported "Dead Dog Beach" in Puerto Rico — mishandled and after that relinquished by their proprietors.

At that point the typhoon hit, and the non domesticated canines were washed away. None survived.

Be that as it may, the circumstance is far more terrible, and more risky, than she could have envisioned.

"Once the embraces and tears were finished, the principal thing we as a whole needed to do was go to the shoreline to search for our non domesticated puppies," Beckles composed on Facebook.

"Unfortunately, we didn't discover them and our hearts are substantial with the truth after observing the express demolition at the shoreline — they didn't survive."

The island of 3.4 million individuals is without power, and water, and raiders have assumed control as police and the National Guard implement a strict 6 p.m.- to-6 a.m. time limitation — leaving Americans in turmoil, deserted by their administration.

"It's a battle region," Beckles said by email. "There is no power or water. We are under check in time from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sustenance is winding up rare and individuals are getting urgent. Plundering has just started. The lines to get gas are seven to ten hours in length — to get $10 worth of gas."

Beckles' own home in Puerto Rico was likewise decimated.

"It has a tree on it and is 6 feet submerged," she said.

"The water ended up noticeably sullied a couple of days after the tempest. The Mayor of San Juan cleared the zone on Saturday because of the genuine medical problem the water now introduces."

Her house was loaded with crude sewage when she returned Tuesday.

"We needed to swim through thigh high dark water to get to it. All that we possess is gone," she said.

"Today, Wednesday, we backpedaled and the water level has now RISEN. It has not been raining here. There is a recreation center toward the finish of our piece that was overflowed and it was directed out two days back. Why draw the water out of a recreation center yet leave a whole neighborhood under sewer water? I am not attempting to single myself out – I am intensely mindful that there are thousands, presumably countless individuals that have lost everything. They ALL need assistance now."

Beckles said that all through the catastrophe, the feeling of group is encouraging.

"The larger part of individuals are meeting up and helping each other. Neighbors are the ones cleaning the avenues and moving garbage. I feel a staggering feeling of group," she composed by email.

"Healing centers are running on generators and they are coming up short on fuel. However the biggest shopping center on the island as of now has control."

She included that the tropical storm hit straightforwardly on Dead Dog Beach in Yabucoa.

"The district endured the loss of 99% of their structures. We were looking after 3 non domesticated puppies there and they have not been seen since 9/19," she composed.

"Our group went by the shoreline yesterday and after observing the decimation we accept right now those pooches have died. We have protected three canines since the typhoon – all dumped amid the tempest. One is vigorously pregnant and was with a little puppy."

She was told by a security protect for the inn at the shoreline that the pooches "were shouting in dread."

"They are presently sheltered in our care and will be transported off the island on Friday."

Beckles said that in the initial couple of days after the sea tempest, it appeared things may be fine — yet help never came.

"We are currently 7 days in and nothing is occurring. How might anybody feel safe with a time limit set up and plundering going on?" she said.

The chairman of San Juan has cautioned individuals to stay inside and not disregard the time limit for their own particular security.
